LEAK-FINDER

LEAK-FINDER is an integrated system for the automatic monitoring and detection of leaks in water networks, enabling leaks to be identified more quickly and effectively. The system integrates diverse data, such as ground-based data and field measurements from new and existing sensors (powered by microturbines integrated into valves), numerical models and satellite imagery (Earth Observation) processed using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques.

FadeOut role

FadeOut Software developed the satellite image processing subsystem designed to identify indicators of leaks, such as soil moisture, the presence of water, and changes in vegetation and temperature. It has also contributed to the software platform and data integration workflows, helping combine sensor streams, hydraulic models, and analytics into a unified decision-support tool.
