SINDBAD 2.0

SINDBAD 2.0 (Services for Navigation Safety) is an advanced technological platform for the provision of personalised support services for professional maritime activities (fishing, aquaculture, local transport) and, more generally, for all maritime operators, with the aim of ensuring the safety of those working on board and improving the efficiency of operations. The platform integrates diverse data (numerical models, radar data, distributed sensing, satellite imagery) and provides vertical applications of immediate practical use.

FadeOut Software role

FadeOut Software has developed a solution based on the analysis of multispectral satellite imagery to identify algal blooms in marine waters that may pose a risk to maritime activities. It has also contributed to the development of the module integrated into the SINDBAD 2.0 platform to make the generated maps available to users.
